The touristic spot of Can Picafort is centred in the bay of Alcudia at the north west of the island between the two natural parks of Son Real and L’Albufera,
There you will find the largest white and sandy beach of the island with 17km.
Apart of being a touristic area the village is still conserving the typical charming character of a mediterranean port, a great choice of restaurants and bars close to the beach which is also prepared with a wooden access for handicapped people.
Close to the east side you will find the lovely countryside of this area with two small picturesque places ending up with Cape Farrutx, one of the most beautiful
spots of the island. Towards the east you will reach the wetland of Parque Natural de la Albufera, the beach Playa de Muro (2km), Port de Alcudia (10km), Alcudia (14km), Port de Pollença (22km) and Formentor (31km).
At this fantastic location you can realize many activities like beach-volleyball, diving, walking and horse riding, karts, tennis, sailing, windsurf, cycling, ornithology, golf,…You will find also perfect combinations for culture (necropolis of Son Real, etc…) or just for relax.
